“The first musical by the Galicia Symphony Orchestra and Volana Productions is a story of music, spices and courage”

In a small coastal village in Galicia, Lúa opens the family fish shop every morning, heir to a long tradition that both stifles and sustains it. While her family struggles to keep the business afloat in the face of a threatening urban development project, Lúa hides her true passion: music.
Across the ocean, Xoán leaves Argentina with his parents in search of a new beginning. His arrival at the local high school coincides with Lúa’s final year, and an immediate connection is forged between them. But their worlds soon collide: Xoán’s foreign origins and the rumors surrounding his family’s role in the development project make him a target of rejection.
Amid secret rehearsals, family tensions, and a divided town, Lúa and Xoán find in music a common language to heal wounds and rekindle hope. When all seems lost, an emotional outburst from Lúa shakes the town and paves the way for collective reconstruction.
In a luminous ending, tradition and modernity manage to coexist. The village celebrates its centenary fishmonger with new rhythms, and its young people, like Lúa and Xoán, discover that the future can also be built without giving up on roots.
